Which of these is the most valuable piece in the game of chess?

Asiotye, The King may look (and, indeed, behave in some ways) like the other pieces, but is really more than just another piece. It's the ONLY 'piece' on the chessboard that *represents* the player him/herself; all other pieces are merely arsenal at his disposal. The Queen is, certainly, the most valuable of his weapons, but the King is the ONLY 'piece' invaluable. And, clearly, even the most lethal, the most 'valuable' of a fighter's weapons CANNOT exceed in importance the fighter him/herself.
