It’s a lot more logical that the fruit growing in the supposed garden of Eden was dates rather than apples. Apples are a cool-climate fruit and were very unlikely to be found in the Middle East back in the ancient days.

The Holy Scriptures (The Bible) does not say they were apples either. They are mentioned as "forbidden fruit". That they were apples came later as part of folklore and artist's imagination.

Cyanjaguar62, The Bible, like the Church itself, IS THE PATRIARCHY. A book of instructions telling us what to believe, what to do, and how to live. Every book of the Bible was written by a man, every position of power is held by a man, every deity is a male (God, Jesus, Allah), and each one says that women are inferior and subservient to men. It worked for thousands of years, but it doesn't have the same power anymore. I look forward to burying the Patriarchy.

Dates are really good for you. To make them taste better, you can roll them in powdered sugar. The sugar absorbs some of the moisture so the dates are not so sticky, and the powdered sugar joins with the moisture to create a thin layer of crispness on the outside, while the inside is soft.

Clidge, My thoughts Exactly!! How did Gabriel get into this debate?Satan the Devil was using the serpent to speak to Eve. I am a serious Bible student and from I’ve researched, whatever fruit it was, it wasn’t very sweet because right after they took a bite out of it, they threw it on the ground. That added insult to injury to God, I’m sure. SMH
