Ewa, Many did. some were good, others not so much. The current president 's dad bribed a doctor to say his d on had flat feet to keep. him out of Viet Nam. I don't like him, but I can't blame him. Anyone who could avoid going to Vietnam did; however, I know quite a number of vets who hate him because he got out on a lie from a doctor about flat feet whereas their parents, being poor did not have the wherewithal to keep their sons out.
