What is the capital city of Palawan province in Philippines?

I visited in 1992, traveled on a ferry across the Sulu sea in a storm from Cebu. There was nothing in Puerto princessa, one decent restaurant and one ok hotel. most of the other passengers were internal migrants complete with many, many children, chickens and piglets
