In what year was sliced bread invented?

The whole time, people could not even slice a bread 😂😂😂

I never buy a sliced loaf, I use a knife and slice it myself, I can have thinner slices that way - the way I prefer them.

The explanation says that he built a prototype in 1912, so why is 1928 given as the correct answer? That was the year it went into commercial use.
