A respiratory therapist is the best friend of those afflicted with CF. As an RT, have experienced first hand the heartbreak that accompanies taking care of those suffering such plight, passing away, even before adulthood, despite our best efforts.
Morbidly and mortality have greatly improved over the last couple of decades, which is encouraging.
