Player #9890373, I got the original push pin type and it had a hat, hair with a hole in the middle ( so the hat would attach the hair)4 eyes, 2 buttons, 2 arms 2 legs a coat . That's all I remember.. 60+ years ago..

potatoes made for good toys, another popular activity used to be potato stamps to decorate paper. kids today too into computer games.

That was really a bad idea to sell the parts & then the kids use real potatoes, even for the 1950-60's. I'm sure that they had a lot of complaints about rotting vegetables lol. I wonder if any kids made that their comfort toy & refused to give it up

BubblyCoin95574, Yes it does! I love Mr. Potato he has been around a long time. It's awesome having a toy I played with 50 years ago, then my 33 year and 16 old had some and now I have an 18 month old grandson when he turns 3 years old I need to get him one. Right now he would probably put the pieces in his mouth. A fun toy love this one.
