Who was Rumi?

I didn't know that

Rumi he must be a righteous person a soul longing for freedom a religion of Love and Fear of the Almighty is what he wanted

Muslim is not a nationality, it's a religion, and Muslims can be found in all those countries and a whole lot more. The underlying philosophy of Rumi is, in my opinion, very much at odds with the fear-based way Islam is practised nowadays.
