Iceland is a wonderful place to visit and the black sand beaches are indeed spectacular! The entire island's population is less than half a million; the crime rate is near zilch and the people are warm (pun intended). Go see it!

the yellow part behind the black beach is a yellow brook. the best I can figure, because the water flows over volcanic rock it changes color (more colors than yellow) and doesn't mix with the ocean well.
had to look it up and this is the most sense I could make of it

This statement is subjective. For me the most beautiful black sand beach is Kalapana, Hawaii. Palm trees and the Pacific Ocean. Doesn't get any better than that.

I've been to the Canary Islands, they have black sand beaches from volcanic activity. It is a beautiful sight. Does burn your feet in hot weather though 👣

Not true , there is a place called Black Rocks in the Caribbean island of St Kitts where pillars of lava stand in the sea which look like people attending a party . It is ver beautiful in the moonlight and the wind whistles around making sounds that sound like voices. 😊
