One of the nuns at my high school had a POW bracelet with his name on it. She prayed for him every day. He was a hero and an honorable man.

Wesley, The enemy in Vietnam was the NVA, North Vietnamese Army. The Viet Cong were South Vietnamese citizens who collaborated with the NVA. They included old women and children who had bombs strapped to them. They would walk into the middle of a group of Marines and blow themselves up. They were worse than the NVA, because they didn't wear uniforms, and you couldn't tell who they were.

All Vietnam vets are heroes. My brother was there for eleven months and we are so grateful that God allowed him to return home!
