Inhaling of which gas temporarily changes the timbre of the human voice?
Correct answer: Helium

It is hilarious when you sound like Alvin and the chipmunks!

alderaanic, I think it's only classed as dangerous as it lowers the amount of oxygen getting into your lungs so constant inhalation will starve you of all oxygen. But yep, it is funny though. Search on a well known video site for the two German guys drinking helium beer.. I couldn't stop laughing!

It's so funny do inhale. Anything you say is funny and comedic. I have read somewhere that it could be dangerous but I would probably think that would be continues use or large amounts. A kids party balloon is fine.

inhaling chlorine would change your voice. you would go from normal to gagging, suffocating and death. As soldiers in the first world war know.

Kiwozzie, We would be laughing 😂 so hard at the way it made your voice sound. It was dangerous for those who did it to much.

Not so much the timbre than the pitch of one's voice. Although chlorine might be interesting, its effects would be permanent.
