one pint of water weighs 1 lb. But that is useless and trying to figure out this little problem.

I grew up with the American system and it is ridiculous. The only country in the world that still stays with the American system and labels in parentheses would it really is for the rest of the world. I just don't understand.

Would it not be much simpler if one knows, understands, and can use either system ?
