When I worked in a depth store,they rotated us around so we would know how different ones worked. I worked in almost every one except car parts.

Job rotation is not necessarily the best way to make employees change positions. I belonged to a company who moved people around like a chess board. Anytime the hierarchy reorganized, employees were shifted into new positions. I was moved into jobs I never would have applied for had I had a choice. And in this type of approach the employee NEVER has a choice. Not a fan.
