In Spanish we say Señora (Mrs or Ms) Señor (Mr) Señorita (Miss). There are other words depending the country. I was thought to address adults as Señora, Señor o Señorita as sign of being polite and respectful. It’s also part of my culture. I don’t see that saying Mrs, Ms, Miss or other titles in this regard should be an issue for any group. In any case is up to the other person that you are being introduced or viceversa to let you know if wanted to be called just by the name.
