I wear a blue star given to me over 55 years ago!

MommaMel
TwoTin16, they're all called beryl. Green = emerald, red=rubies, etc.

baymax
well it's blue, and sapphires are blue,so logically the answer should be sapphire, right

It was in a star shape so it is very easy to guess

Callie Rose
MommaMel, sapphires, rubies, and a number of color variations are Corundum, the second hardest gem stones after diamonds. Emeralds are beryl along with aquamarine and other color variations, the third hardest after diamond (10), sapphire (9), then beryl (8) on the Mohns scale. not the same chemical make up.

caliro, Oh! Thank you for the correction, I love knowing things like this. Hmmm, guess that's why I've got this game I play every day and I'm NOT a gamer! ;)

Player #25924774, If the star is perfectly symetrical, it is synthetic. Look it up.

MommaMel, sapphires and rubies are corundum. Emeralds are beryl.
