One of the most covered songs, ever. One of the best versuons is done ironically, by Rod Stewart. Saw Johnny Mercers grave in Savannah, Georgia. There were tributes and notes from around to world to him. There is a tribute to Moon River etched on the marker as well.

Cookie Bean, he actually hated the movie and didn’t want her for the part. Still, it wouldn’t exist without him. :-)
