Many years ago, we took the children to the West Midlands Safari Park. With drive through animal enclosures one contained giraffes , and I don’t know if they were used to visitors feeding them but they were quite friendly and inquisitive. One approached the car and as we didn’t think the giraffes were dangerous , the windows were open . It brought its head down and licked my daughter’s arm . She freaked out. I think most people! This was the trip when one member of our party , Barking Mad Simon , was driving his brand new company car . Through the monkey enclosure. Not a good idea . The monkeys disagreed , they liked that car . Especially the taste of the rear plastic spoiler . So they bit great chunks off . Imagine explaining that to your boss. And the insurance company.
