What kind of drink is Galliano?

Harvey Wallbangers were the drink of the 70’s

I worked in a public house(pub) for 14.5 years from 70’s through 80’s and it was in most cocktails of the time,loved the bottle shape but awkward to fit on spirit shelf because of it’s height but decorative bottle

All the ingredients sound so good to me. I could see how it would good for digestion. However I don't like the high alcohol content. Too bad there isn't available a tincture similar to this.
