The Lutheran Church is the main church of Aussies of German descent (about 4% of Australians including me have some German ancestry) Many Lutherans came here in the early 1800's to escape religious persecution in Prussia . They mainly settled in South Australia and eastwards on the South coast and were later joined by numerous ordinary German immigrants. Parts of South Australia especially in the wine growing regions still exhibit strong German influence and numerous small Lutheran churches.

Well it had to have changed after the so called religion of Hitler. He certainly wasn't a Christian. His morals was not what Jesus taught.
