Which of these metals is rare but used every day by most people?

commonly used as a incandescent light bulb filament, but with move to LED, not as commonly used as a few years ago. Rare elements in cell phones now are in the common use category.

Tungsten also used as the tip for Spark Plugs because of there high melting point .

HAL 9000, also gold and silver jewellery are in everyday use by so many people.

Gold is common for jewelry and electronic contacts. Platinum is common in catalytic converters.
