In Australian slang, a 'snag' is what sort of meat product often cooked on a barbecue?

Australian slang is weird!! and any other slang than American slang is weird!! like other words for Australian slang is Chrissie which mean Christmas and then Barbie which means barbecue!! I actually like saying those words!!

I would have thought Americans would use Snag cause a sausage & hotdog bun kinda reminds of a baseball glove & you Snag a ground ball, etc. Snag your food.
