What is "frappe"?

Normally made with espresso and definitely not instant.

This is news to me! I would love to try this real frappe. In Massachusetts, what we know as a frappe is a milkshake (milk and syrup shaken up...) with ice cream blended in. No coffee in it, except Autocrat coffee syrup maybe. We pronounce it "frap" In Rhode Island, they used to call a frappe a "cabinet". Go figure.

Lorraine , YES !! In NOLA, any private self-respecting coffeehouse would never make frappe with instant coffee. Sorry guys. I got this question wrong because INSTANT is not in the definition. 😱
