What is the name of the animal in the picture?

It's the national animal of Pakistan. Rarely seen these days, its habitat in Pakistan stretches from the Pir Panjal in Azad Kashmir to the Karakorums in Gilgit-Baltistan. The name literally translates as 'snake-eater', attributed to the popular but false belief that they'll occasionally kill and consume venomous snakes (although their having evolved particularly great resistance against snake venom may be true).
