The picture should have been from the original 1930 book not the rewritten books from the late 50s & 60s. In the rewrites she goes from a golden haired girl to a titan haired girl (redhead). Shameful mucking up someone else's work.
Once a year I reread them all, in order from 1930 to 1949. Takes me 3.5 days...if I do nothing else.
