Cookie Bean, they get a ton of money for those naming rights.

Player #29684811 & Cookie Bean, How about Wrigley Field? That's an "old name" but it started out being Weeghman Park. Even Fenway was updated in the 1930's, which was named after the neighborhood. Soldier Field started out as Municipal Grant Park & it too has seen updates, etc. Most fields were constructed with sponsorship of one kind or another, & most have been renovated at one point in time in the history of the fields regardless of the sport. Times change.
