The Last Supper was actually a traditional Jewish Seder. The Seder is the traditional Passover meal that includes readings, ceremonial drinking of four cups of wine, telling stories, eating special foods and other Passover traditions.. According to Biblical command, it is held after nightfall on the first night of Passover. It celebrates the anniversary of the Jewish people’s miraculous exodus from Egyptian slavery more than 3,000 years ago. The Catholic Mass includes many of the traditional elements of the Seder.

Player #29684811, I'm going to defend this. Mentioning the crucifixion is reasonable context otherwise the picture would just be called "The Supper". This isn't foisting religious values down your throat and we see many questions from many different traditions in the quiz. I think you are being overly sensitive and unreasonable.

Mel, For Christ's disciples, it would be the last Passover, because Jesus sacrificial death fulfilled the Passover of freeing mankind of a permanent death sentence to everlasting life

ACTUALLY THE SUPPER WAS ON LOW COUCHES OR PILLOWS WHERE EVERYONE RECLINED. THERE WERE NO HIGH TABLES LIKE WE HAVE NOW. JOHN WAS RECLING AGAINST JESUS WHILE THEY WERE EATING.
