mash was great .I still watch the reruns on TV. I saw the movie too but I like the actors better on the TV show. Alan Alda was perfect as Hawkeye. I also like father mulchahy. I doubt I'm spelling it right.

Rush and fidler. Gary Burghoff was the only 'original' character to transition from the movie.

fidler, I'm with you. The picture was good but -- while I love Donald Sutherland and the rest of the cast -- the cast of the TV show just felt more comfortable. Father Mulcahy was one of my favorites, too.
