How many days hath September, April, June and November?

30 days hath September, April, June and November. All the rest have 31, except for February, alone. 28 days it has, most of the time, except on leap year, 29

Then there's the old kid joke: "What month has 27 days?" "All of them!"

CL53, I use the knuckle method too, which, I believe, is the easiest way - no poem is needed to memorize, at least.

I never learned it with this poem. To this day I still use the knuckles method remembering only that February has 28 or 29 days. You make a fist and count the months. The first knuckle (your pointer finger) = January. The valley in between is February and so on and then start over at the beginning. You end at the ring finger knuckle = December. Basically all 31-day months are knuckles and 30-day months (plus February) are valleys. I hope I’ve explained it right!

Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November all the rest have Thirty One excepting February alone which has Twenty Eight days clear and Twenty Nine in each leap year.

Knew this because my birthday is November 30
