I wish they had included a photo of the frog under UV light.

Black light or UV light?!

RusPus, it's the same thing. Americans tend to call it black light, British and Europeans tend to call it UV light.

Smeeg, Those of us from the late 60’s know, where walls everywhere were plastered with “black light posters” for art….? 🤣

If you shine 365nm UV light in the dark ofc, at a Yellow necked mouse, it glows bright orange. I have one visit our back garden and had to photograph it. After it was discovered by a scientist collecting roadkill, at night in Australia. Who accidentally shone a UV torch on a recently deceased mamal he/she found. It's fur apparently glowed.

Misty, Lol! It takes a certain kind of person to be a scientist, that's for sure. The main personality trait seems to be unending curiosity about pretty much everything.

yeah RusPus even my dog knew this nature question and black light shines blue making the animal glow in the dark. you big cat,King of the African Plain.

This is why I'm not a scientist. It would never occur to me to put a black light on a frog.
