I had surgery on both my eye just last year, what a difference to everything I can see, even after the surgeon caught the back of the cup where the new lens was to go and some of the gel in the back of my eye filled the caverty

CyanJaguar62, me too. I had both eyes done a month apart, best ever, my kids(5) always saw me wearing glasses to drive and they freaked out when I didn't wear them. They said can you see to drive, without the glasses!??I just laughed at them.

Had lens replaced in both eyes a year ago. I got the tri-focal implants and can see close to far perfectly without glasses. It’s wonderful!!!

I have just undergone cataract surgery for the first time one week ago. I absolutely cannot get over the difference in my vision now!

I had cataract surgery in 2015 and it was a miracle. Lately I was told I have "frost" on my implanted lens and they can remove it easily with a quick laser procedure--hopefully in a few months.

I'd gotten mine from Cushings's Syndrome I had for over 10 years prior to them finding the tumor on my adrenal gland. so a year and a half ago I found out that all the cortisol in my body from the Cushing's caused me to have cataracts. and I'm in my early 40s.
now that was surprising for me to hear when I was at the doctors LOL

I understand that cataracts can be caused by the flash from welding. I knew of a fairly young welder who has started getting them.

Jecca,
Thank you - I’m going to get checked out for Cushing syndrome. It’s great what we can learn and share on this game, huh?

I had cataract surgery 2 and a half years ago on both eyes 👀 at the same time. Thank God, it went perfectly fine but it didn't work well for my sister a year later.
