What is the diet of the marmot?

Well, it helped to see a carrot in his mouth! 😂

kind of a hybrid of a squirrel and ground hog, which are fat pigs here in Ohio and eat up all vegetation!

Does that mean a marmot devoured my herbi?😪

OLLY. We saw quite a few marmots up the Gross Glockner mountain in Austria. The marmots were on to a good thing, because many tourists stopped to watch them and feed them over a wall in a car park there. Somebody told us that by the end of the tourist season many of the marmots had trouble getting back down their burrows, they had become so fat!

I've seen marmots. They're large, fat and furry. Don't know how they're in the squirrel family as they're a lot more like prairie dogs.
