Hollycay, They are related to the Walla Walla sweet onions in Washington state. The Maui Maui of Hawaii and the original Texas Sweet onion and of course the Vidalia. So hopefully you’ll see one of their names in your market soon. You can thank Texas A& M for developing these.

Razzie , Vidalia onions are from a small area in central Georgia. They have to be from there or else they could not be called Vidalias.
