In which country is the city of Edmonton located?

my ancestors immigrated from Romania to somewhere around Edmoton, Canada! ive always wanted to go and see my familys old village. its still there and is a museum now, but the church built by the Romanian settlers unfortunately burned down somewhat recently. ):

Lived in Alberta and managed to visit Edmonton several times. Edmonton mall has one of the largest indoor roller coaster and tons of other features.
