According to the dates noted for his birth and death, he should have been 110 years old. But it's stated, contrarily, that he lived to 73. I'm assuming the date of death is incorrect.

TheLadyKane, It's a typo; year of death was 1926. Although successful, Gaudí dressed like a beggar. After he was hit by a tram, taxi drivers refused to take him to a hospital. He was eventually taken to a hospital for the poor, where he died. His work is unusual and beautiful, worth a look.
