What is the main ingredient in traditional Brazilian dish Angu?

I would probably love it if it is like cornbread.

I wasn't offered any angu while I was in Brazil for 15 days during World Cup 2014. I'm a big fan of cornbread, so I imagine I'd like angu as well.
