Which German medieval walled town is shown in the picture?

I lived in Wuerzburg, not too far away. I visited Rothenberg many times. Beautiful city!

I didn't know. But castles often end in -burg, or some other word meaning mountain. People built castles on mountains or hills.

The Christmas market is amazing!! Would love to go back to visit.
