D O N N A, I remember my Mom was a 4 - 5 and never had trouble finding shoes in the 1940s when sample shoes were in that size. Now most women's shoes start at 7.

That device was no good for me as I have a short foot and long toes. So it said that I needed a shorter or longer shoe at the same time.
