Which is the source of energy production in Copenhill Plant?
Correct answer: Waste

Bonnie
Maybe the U.S. should be thinking about doing the same.

Robyn
Bonnie , the whole entire world should be doing this!!!

Dave
We should be doing this in Canada, instead of shipping our waste at the cost of millions every year

Razzie
and the UK should be doing this as well, brilliant idea!

With all the talk every day about climate change why isn’t the millions sent on this marvellous great stupendous IDEA. what are governments waiting on. ! ! !

Mike T
Wonderful idea. They should build one in Canberra. With the amount of 'crap' that comes from our politicians, they can provide energy for the whole of Australia 😆

WhoLetTheDogsOut?
Establishing waste to energy plants is only part of the solution. We also need to reduce our reliance on non-renewable resources, such as crude oil based plastics.

Player #85315195
Why isn't every country in the world using this, if necessary.

Unreal Neil.
The worst thing ever made by man is PLASTIC!!

Everyone is so excited and nobody has a clue about the cost of this thing. I actually went ahead and looked it up. It cost $600 mln to build, which makes it about $10,000 per Kw of energy. This is crazy expensive. Many times more expensive than solar, wind or gas. Curious toy for the rich nation like Denmark? Sure! Practical and scalable solution for the world? Not a chance.

Ophelia
And my country Ghana should think about this and do same. Not only to be taking IMF loans, which we don't know what they use it for.

Diane
Sure better than dumping it in our oceans!!
