I treated my mom to this ballet for a Christmas gift and having no interest in the fine arts, I was willing to suffer through it, for her. It was fantastic and I'm so glad to have seen it.

SOS, Have you ever looked closely at a ballet pointe shoe? They are rock hard, no wonder they're so noisy. Dancers wrap sheep's wool around their toes to try to protect them. I wasn't a ballet dancer, but friends and family were (and my great niece still is)

In the explanation, there is nothing about Odile (the daughter of the sorcerer) whom the author showed in the answer option.

I remember seeing a movie of this ballet during the school holidays when I was about 9 or 10 & being utterly blown away! It looked so beautiful & graceful that I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up. When I was in my 30s I saw a live ballet & was shocked at how noisy it was! Sounded like a herd of elephants despite the live orchestra lol 😆
