A business which specializes in answering or making phone calls has which name?

I've not heard of a call centre

Grrrr!! Typically, the most annoying and frustrating time you csn have on your phone. Especially when dealing with non-native English speakers (being American). The difficulty communicating is aggravating (all so the business can hire cheap labor!) It's an awful business model, imo.

now being replaced by the term contact center...
