Cats often rest in this position but what is it called?
Correct answer: Catloaf

Player Say what!?
Didn't know that. position, or ANY position for that matter had a name, but looking at the picture, the answer is obvious.

Lane
My cat does this to lure unsuspecting kitty lovers close and then goes full attack mode.

arohanui
never heard there was a name for that position. and I've had cats for decades.

There's been a cat as part of my home for most of my life and have never heard of any name for the positions they are in.

Maui Girl
Sindy, I have always called it meatloaf

Beautiful Torture
arohanui, same here!!!

Nobby
looks like a cat resting to me! Who makes up these ludicrous terms? - lucky to guess this right after a 50/50.

Lionessa
My year-old kitten Ray-Ray is the smartest cat I've ever had. He knew innately how to play fetch with me. The very first time I sent a ponytail scrunchie flying down the hallway, he flew off after it, and almost immediately, I looked down and he was sitting there with the scrunchie in his mouth. He plays fetch like a dog, and I didn't have to teach him anything. (I'm a proud mom.)

Lane, Take a look at the way you treat and condition your cat's behavior. The problem is usually because of the owners.

Piper
I’ve heard this before and knew the answer just looking at the picture. My cats sit that way a lot.🐈🐈⬛

Giggle pig
Fredrico, yes, I have three cats myself, but I do not understand why people think it’s OK to have their animals roaming over your property.

Sindy
I call it the basic egg. or of course, meatloaf.
