This is called Berliner in most of Germany, Kreppel is a local name only used in small parts of the country.

Look delicious, I think the people of Germany deserve a culinary medal for all the sweet things they’ve produced… Stolen, Lebukuchen,etc unfortunately along with Scottish Tablet, Turkish Delight, Gulub Jamin it may have been a major factor in me getting Type 2 Diabetes! Lol
