In what 1999 super natural horror movie would you see this stick configuration?

I see they're showing it Saturday night on Svengoolie (MeTV). I've never been into horror, preferring 50s scifi monsters like giant scorpions. Night of the Living Dead was enough horror for me.

Can't watch it because it makes me motion sick.... wish they would have made less jerky movements, slower smooth 1st person views would have been better.
