rafter, I don’t think hallucinations are brought on by fasting. People eat before sunrise and break the fast at sunset. They don’t go for days without eating or drinking. It brings about an awareness of other people’s suffering and Muslims all over the world give a lot to charity in that month. A lot of Muslims give all year round.
