Bacon comes from which animal?

I love bacon, but last year I watched a program about the additives in it, I can’t remember the name of the additive but they said basically it’s gunpowder and causes cancer!! Don’t have it anymore

Apparently the smell of bacon frying is the most likely to convert vegetarians back to meat eating. My son is a convert.
