BonBon, No, it's Not impossible. The reason they were able to live that long is because they were Much closer to Perfection than we are today. Today, we are Soo Far Away from Perfection it's Not even Funny!! We are living "in the last of the last days."

BonBon
Okay folks, nobody lives that long in terms of our modern day year. Biblical years are 100% not the same as the modern year. Appreciate the stories as they are meant to be learned and understood. Do not get all, Ooo and Ahhh, over people living to be hundreds of years old and wonder why we don’t live that long now. It’s because they may have been old compared to most people who maybe lived to 50 if they were lucky. With our modern amazing medicine the vast majority of people don’t make it 100 years, so, it was impossible for people to live that long thousands of years ago.

Queen Esther
blessed, ohhh!! really that is so nice! hope u keep the faith! in God!! and keep running the good race! to the end! God bless u!

rafter, The definition of a prophet is, a messenger from God. abobo, If you read that book of Exodus you will find that God sent Moses' brother Aaron, to meet him halfway so he could speak to Pharaoh for him because Moses stuttered...

Koplfer, it wasn't a punishment, it was because the people kept grumbling, complaining, and doubting God. What could have been an 11 day trip, turned into a 40 year trip, all because the people were unfaithful, doubting and sinful. A lot like us really!
