knicom22, Well, we obviously didn't steal it. William the Conqueror was generous enough to begin the building of a mighty edifice for us,nearly a thousand years ago. But he was a Norman King, not British Pity he used the locals as labourers, slave labour possibly, but better that, than what would have happened to them if they'd refused. So I suppose that technically "we" did build it. P.S. I'm English but I know that we are not the most advanced country in the world. Technologically, Japan is no.1, followed by South Korea and China. The USA is 4th and we come in at no.8 Sorry to burst your bubble!
