In India, we've traditionally regarded the Ramayan and Mahabharat as mythologies. However, the Bhagavad Gita, the sacred Hindu scripture, originates from the Mahabharat. If the Bible and Quran aren't considered myths, then the Bhagavad Gita, which is a part of the Mahabharat, shouldn't be classified as mythology either.
