LadyC313, nope Europe uses postcodes, which identify very very precisely where you live. Much more useful than ZIP Codes.

LadyC313, apparently I’m mistaken! I’m from Belgium, we call it zip code! Now in Crete/Greece, zipcode. I send packages to the USA, and I write zipcode(then the number of that area). But some of the comments proved me wrong! Well everyday you learn something! 💕

We have post codes in Australia, the 1st digit designates the state. I am in the state of Western Australia and ours start with a 6. 6000 is for the capital city of Perth. All other suburbs and towns have their own post code.
