Who wrote "Animal Farm"?

I studied this at school and it was one of my favourite books. Unfortunately, being so young, it's satire was completely lost on me then!

I read this book for school as well. I wonder what kind of books kids have to read in school these days? Do they even read books? Or are books just something their parents burn at hysterical mob rallies?

All animals are equal. But some are more equal than others. So said the pigs at the end. Referring to humans, of course.

I have read it multiple times.

The book is warning about absolute power. Not an instruction manual!
